What's the first thing to do for a burn?

Cool the burn under cool running water for 20 minutes. Then follow the directions on your burn gel or dressing.

When does a burn need medical attention?

Seek medical help for burns that are large, deep, blistered or on the face, hands, feet or genitals, and for any burn in a young child. Call 000 in an emergency.

Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Wounds that are deep, slow to heal or show signs of infection should be checked by a doctor or nurse. Ask our pharmacists in store, or call 07 3355 3052.
