Mextra Superabsorbent is a superabsorbent dressing with a liquid-repellent cover fleece,
a core consisting of superabsorbent particles and a wound contact layer made of fleece.
Properties of Mextra Superabsorbent
• Dressing retains product integrity even when wet and does not become heavy
and bulky even after absorbing exudate > high patient comfort
• Liquid-repellent back prevents the dressing from getting wet > fewer leaks
• Dressing feels dry > high patient comfort
• Has protease modulating properties > promotes wound healing
• Easy to distinguish between wound side (white) and back (blue) > safe to use
• Can be used under compression
