HyperSal6 is used for the induction of sputum in the lower respiratory tract in patients with persistent mucus accumulation.
HyperSal6 is a hypertonic saline solution for inhalation via a nebuliser. It is sterile and preservative-free.
HyperSal6 contains sodium chloride 6% w/v (1 mmol/mL). Working by osmosis, the hypertonic saline solution can help mobilise and clear respiratory secretions.
