Description

The ResMed AirFit F40 is an ultra-compact under-the-nose Full Face Mask that offers exceptional fit allowing sleeping in any position.

The ResMed AirFit™ F40 features a fully flexible frame with a soft, total silicone AdaptiSeal™ cushion with fewer adjustment points.  The AirFit F40 is designed for easy fitting and comfort. Its ultra-compact under-the-nose design and adaptive seal means you can enjoy sleeping in any position.  The new AdaptiSeal Cushion is designed to maintain a seal by adapting to the face.  QuietAir™ diffused venting is integrated into the cushion to provide a more peaceful bedroom environment.

This mask is available in 3 cushion sizes - Small Wide, Medium and Large.  The standard kit includes a Standard sized Headgear.  Other Headgear sizes are available in Small and Large and sold separately.

*Contraindications

Masks with magnetic components are contraindicated for use by patients where they, or anyone in close physical contact while using the mask, have the following:

  • Active medical implants that interact with magnets (i.e., pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICD), neurostimulators, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) shunts, insulin/infusion pumps)
  • Metallic implants/objects containing ferromagnetic material (i.e., aneurysm clips/flow disruption devices, embolic coils, stents, valves, electrodes, implants to restore hearing or balance with implanted magnets, ocular implants, metallic splinters in the eye)
