Description
OPSITE FLEXIGRID is an adhesive and clear waterproof dressing, which is bacteria-proof and provides a moist wound environment.
A common belief of treating a wound that is kept moist will heal faster because of the breathable, waterproof film that protects the wound from contamination.
USES:
- Minor burns
- Blisters
- Grazes
Directions for use
1. Wash hands before and after treating wound. Gently clean wound and surrounding skin. Dry surrounding skin thoroughly.
2. Peel back protective backing and place film dressing on wound. Gently press around the wound to seal.
3. Remove the clear printed cover on top of the film dressing.
WHEN TO CHANGE:
OPSITE FLEXIGRID can be left on a non-infected wound for up to 7 days depending on the fluid level. It is normal for a small amount of clear fluid to collect underneath the dressing.
DRESSING REMOVAL:
To remove OPSITE FLEXIGRID, lift one corner and slowly stretch the clear film outwards.
