Ingredients
Loperamide hydrochloride 2mg
Directions for use
Adults and Children 12 years and over: 2 capsules initially, followed by 1 capsule after each loose motion. Do not exceed 8 capsules in 24 hours.
Warnings
Always read the label. Follow the directions for use. If symptoms persist, talk to your health professional.
• Do not use beyond 48 hours.
• If the condition persists after two days of treatment,seek medical advice as soon as possible.
• Do not give to children under 12 years of age.
• Drink plenty of fluids as fluid and electrolyte depletion may occur with diarrhoea. If dehydration is suspected seek medical advice.
• Do not take if you have a medical condition where constipation should be avoided.
• Do not use If foil is broken.
Consult your pharmacist or doctor before taking if:
• You are pregnant, likely to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
• If you have a fever, severe stomach pain, bloody diarrhoea or ongoing condition affecting the bowel.
