Allevyn is a range of moist wound healing dressings. The Allevyn Heel has been designed for a superior anatomical and comfortable fit to enhance management of wounds on the heel, inclusing pressure area care. The features of the dressing that make it suitable for heel area are the one piece shaped construction, Non adhesive and the highly absorbent central hydrocellular layer. The protective padding makes it comfortable for the patient to minimise pain and pressure on the wound. This dressing is like a foam cup which cushions and provides superior wound dressing to an area which is often hard to care for.
