Our Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser has been formulated by dermatologists specifically as a facial cleanser for sensitive skin and contains gentle and non-irritating ingredients.
Cetyl Alcohol — Naturally derived, cetyl alcohol is a non-irritating emollient that is neither drying nor irritating, making it perfect for use in a cleanser for sensitive skin.
Propylene Glycol — Propylene Glycol is a hydrating agent that helps active ingredients penetrate the skin and may make your skin appear smoother and softer.
Methyl Hydroxybenzoate, Butyl Hydroxybenzoate & Propyl Hydroxybenzoate — These three ingredients belong to a group of naturally-derived preservatives extracted from plants. They are gentle and non-sensitising. When used in cleansers, they can help stop the growth of mould and fungi that can accumulate on the skin.

Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser has been conveniently formulated so it can be used with or without water. If applying with water, start with damp skin. Using the handy pump lid, apply a pea-sized amount of Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser to your hand and gently massage into your skin. Start with your cheeks and work your way to your forehead, ensuring you also cleanse down to your neck and décolletage as well. Rinse your skin with lukewarm water.
If you’re applying this cleanser for sensitive skin without water, start by applying a coin-sized amount to your skin and gently massaging the product in as above. Remove excess product with a soft cloth or cotton pad.
