Each 5g (approx 1 teaspoon) contains psyllium seed, dry 2.6g, ispaghula husk, dry 0.11g and senna fruit tinnevelly, equiv. to dry 500mg containing 15mg of sennosides |
Dosage
Adults: Take 1 rounded teaspoon (5g) in the evening, and if necessary before breakfast, followed by a glass of water. Agiolax granules should be swallowed unchewed with a glass of water (approx 250ml) or mixed with any semi-liquid food, such as yoghurt. A bowel movement can be expected 12-24 hours after taking a dose. If you are pregnant or breast feeding, seek the advice of a health professional before taking this product. Drink plenty of water. Contains sucrose. Use in children under 12 years is not recommended. Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present, or if you develop diarrhoea.
