Zea Relief Kunzea Balm 50ml | 1.68 fl. oz | AUST L 291481

A rich consistency that soothes, moisturises and protects your skin. Recommended for muscular pain and skin conditions.

Product Description

Kunzea Balm (AUST L 291481) has a rich consistency that soothes, moisturises and protects your skin. This is the first product we recommend for muscular aches and pains, dry skin and managing skin inflammatory conditions such as eczema.

It may also help relieve the pain associated with arthritis, joint swelling, and joint inflammation, however, we generally recommend our Kunzea Cream for more serious chronic joint conditions as it is more efficient at penetrating through the skin to the source of the pain.

Don't limit yourself there though, Kunzea Balm is a family favourite because of its versatility. It can be used for everything from sunspots to insect bites to lip balm - anything you need really, all in the one tub.

All Zea Relief products are formulated with natural, therapeutic-quality, cruelty-free ingredients.

Uses (AUST L 291481)

Our Kunzea Balm has been listed for the following approved indications. It may help:

  • Relieve muscular aches and pains

  • Assist in the management of dry skin
  • Temporarily relieve joint inflammation and swelling associated with mild arthritis
  • Improve joint mobility in mild arthritis
  • Temporarily relieve joint pain and aches associated with mild arthritis

These are the allowable formal therapeutic indications that can be made in Australia. However, these and other potential therapeutic benefits of Kunzea Oil have been expanded on in our blog post here.

Directions

Apply to affected area 3 to 4 times daily and rub gently in a circular motion until evenly spread and absorbed. May be used in conjunction with Zea Relief Kunzea Cream or Kunzea Roll On.

Active Ingredients

Australian Kunzea ambigua essential oil (50mg/g)

Australian Kunzea Oil is derived from the Kunzea ambigua plant that flourishes in the pristine wilderness of North-East Tasmania. It has a naturally clean, fresh and invigorating aroma.

It is the organic composition of Kunzea Oil that makes it so unique. A high content of several important C15 compounds gives Kunzea its special therapeutic uses and benefits.

Australian Kunzea Oil is the key active ingredient in Kunzea Balm (AUST L 291 481). By adding it to a beeswax base, it absorbs slower by the skin, without blocking pores or leaving a greasy after-feel. This deliberately prolonged penetration helps to target areas of inflammation above and below the surface of the skin.

Evening Primrose oil (75mg/g)

Evening primrose oil is a beautiful ingredient that has a long list of health benefits. It is particularly beneficial for anyone struggling with sensitive skin conditions or hormonal imbalances.

It is highly concentrated with fatty acids and has incredible anti-inflammatory properties for improving skin conditions. It combines very well with Kunzea Oil and gives our Kunzea Balm various added benefits.

Rosehip oil (10mg/g)

For an oil so delicate in nature, Rosehip oil is extremely powerful and capable of adding strength and resiliency to your skin. We have added it to our Kunzea Balm to enhance its rich consistency and help heal your skin inside out. Rich in fatty acids, antioxidants, vitamins A, B, C, and E, the rosehip oil will help to soothe and heal the most dehydrated and dry skin.

Other Ingredients

Beeswax
Beeswax provides protection against irritants while still allowing the skin to breathe. It offers anti-inflammatory, anti-bacterial and anti-viral benefits making it helpful in treating skin irritation. Forming a minute film over the skin, beeswax can also aid in the calming of insect bites, stings, rashes and stressed skin.

Grapeseed oil
Grapeseed is a by-product of winemaking and ensures that all portions of the fruit are used. It is an easily absorbed, gentle oil that is light on the skin. It has many benefits for balancing problematic skin and healing blemishes and scars.

Olive oil
For centuries, olive oil has been used topically to relieve everyday skin ailments. It is packed with antioxidants and vitamins that give it anti-inflammatory and antibacterial benefits. Olive oil helps to hydrate the skin by building the skin’s moisture barrier to prevent loss of moisture.

Jojoba oil
The structure of jojoba oil is very similar to the natural oils of our skin. This means it not only helps to moisturise the skin but also absorbs faster than other oils. Jojoba oil is full of nutrients and antioxidants, and also helps reduce inflammation, manage acne breakouts, soothe sunburn, reduce fine lines, and more.
